Consensus has been reached that Queen is an active group, and Mercury is considered to have been British in Nationality and Indian in ancestry. Please do not change this without first changing consensus.

Needs Copyedit

This article doesn't deserve the rating it's received. The content is good but the grammar and language use need going over.

Lead image

I've noticed that the lead image of this article is relatively poor for such a high profile article. I looked on commons and found a few which have been uploaded fairly recently which might make a good alternative.

The main issue with it is its poor quality, it is dark, poorly focused, and unclear who it actually is. One of the first things I noticed when I came to this page was the poor quality of the lead image, and it looks like I'm not the only person to notice this, as this issue has been raised a few times before. This is what I was attempting to address, although my change has been reverted without any explanation given. G-13114 (talk) 10:08, 6 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
